The Administration office supports the smooth functioning of the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe operations in the Pakistan office by managing administrative tasks and overseeing HR-related activities. The administrative position provides effective and efficient human resource management, administrative support, and compliance with government and organizational policies. The Administration officer is responsible for fulfilling the following duties:

  • The first duty is Human Resource Management.
  • They also assist in recruitment, including job posting, interview scheduling, and applicant screening. Additionally, they must communicate with all candidates.
  • The officer maintains employee personal files, HR documents, contracts, and leave records.
  • The administration officer supports the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Address employee grievances and issues in an effective manner or time.
  • They must assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
  • They ensure the confidentiality and security of Human Resource information.

Administration:

  • Managing, goods and services required within set limits.
  • The administration provides support in logistics and the administration of the Country Office (Pakistan).
  • They are responsible for supervising the work and purchasing furniture, office tools, PCs, vehicles, air conditioners,s and many other types of machinery.
  • Manages and maintains day-to-day cash expenses.
  • Including office supplies, they oversee the day-to-day operations of the office.

Security:

  • They closely coordinate with the Regional Security Coordinator and provide important measures to the staff.

Required qualifications and skills:

Education:

Master’s degree in Human Resource Management Department, Business Administration, Finance Department, and other relevant program.

Experience;

Required experience for this post is a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in Human Resource and Administrative roles, preferably within the NGO sector.

Skills;

  • Multitasking and organizational skills must be high.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
  • As a part of the team, you must have the capability to work independently.
  • High level of professionalism and honesty in the work.
