Branch Operations Manager.

Reporting to :

Educational/Professional/Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an international or local university/institute/college recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Having a Master’s degree and other relevant certificates will be preferred.

Experience:

Three years of experience in branch banking out of which one year as a Branch Operations Manager or in a relevant category.

Skills Required:

  • Applicants must have Good Managerial skills, good communication skills, good knowledge of bank products, and effective processing skills.
  • Candidates must have excellent customer service skills. They must be goal-oriented result-driven and proficient in MS Office work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Employees must manage the overall tasks of the branch and train staff to deliver good customer service.
  • They must adhere to turnaround time or SOPs in processing the customer’s requests with respect to account opening and banking transactions.
  • The employees also manage and monitor the cash management system in attachment to the SBP order and they reconcile the accounts for handing out, collections, general receipts, and initial payment accounts.
  • All employees are responsible for managing the branch’s security systems in an efficient manner including the alarms and CCTV systems.
  • Ensure the on-time process of expenses.
  • According to limits, they check the financial and non-financial transactions.
  • The employees have to resolve the queries of customers.
  • Responsible for escalating all critical situations and reporting to authority for any processor customer-related deviations/issues.
  • Ensure that the branch is getting minimum audit rating at all times and observe/ ensure prompt rectification of inquiry/ compliance/ AML/CFT related irregularities and submit clearance certificates of all types of audits and compliance reports on time.
  • Timely responses to all letters and complaints are also a key duty.
  • Provide training to subordinates from time to time to enhance their banking knowledge and skills.
  • To start branch operations on pre-defined timings, they have to close and open cash and bank vaults.
  • Managing all queries, problem resolutions, and creating internal business links with partners.
  • Also, they are responsible for checking the areas in the bank including the ATMS area.

02: Assistant Manager-Trade Finance, Department:

Reporting To:

Unit Head-Import/Export

Educational/Professional/Qualification:

  • Minimum of Graduation degree or equivalent from a local or internationally recognized HEC university/ college.
  • Preference will be given to a Master’s degree or relevant certificates or diplomas.

Experience: Must have 2 years of experience in trade finance exports/imports/LC advising/refinance/Pakistan Single Window PSW.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Candidates must know about all ICC publications, local regulatory requirements, and relevant policies.
  • Expertise in MS  Office suite and excellent communication skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • They are responsible for processing trade transactions such as import/export documents and LC advising. And to dispatch shipping documents, handle collection, negotiate, and maintain records.
  • Employees also issue shipping guarantees, bank guarantees, claims, and cancellations.
  • Responsible for handling import/export advance payments State Bank of Pakistan SBP guidelines.
  • All transactions must be executed within the allowed TAT (turnaround time)  and as per the Service Level Agreement SLA of the branches.
  • They must advise LC/LC redraft/ cancellation to the customer/ branch and recover advising charges from customers.
  • To provide customer services/handling inquiries and reporting to all internal or external stakeholders and SBP is the key duty.
  • They also perform other different tasks and assignments given by supervisors.
  • Place of Posting: Karachi and Lahore are places of posting for this position.
