School of Mathematics and Computer Science:

Professor
Qualifications required:
PhD from a HEC-recognized university in the relevant program or field. At least 15 years of experience in a relevant field in an HEC center or post-graduate institute. Applicants must have at least 15 publications in past years, IBA may require 5 papers out of 15 announcements. Only shortlisted applicants will appear in the further procedure/interview.
Associate professor:
Associate professor is a high-ranked post and a PhD is required. 10 years of teaching or research experience. Must have at least 10 to 12 research publications in previous years. Five out of the ten publications must be recognized.
Lecturer:
MS or MPhil degree is a must. No third division in an academic year
A good percentage (preferable).
Only short-listed candidates can avail of the job.
Assistant professor:
PhD degree is a must.
Five to ten years of experience in relevant field.
And minimum number of research publications.
Hamid D. Habib Chair:
This post is open at IBA to bring excellence in teaching and research-related activities in financial services. IBA is looking for a person with working skills in the finance department. Applicants must have some links with industry and market finance services. Must have a strong academic record and background. Candidates have to develop new teaching methods and the curriculum must be designed on trends in the local industry/ market.
Job specification includes PhD degree or a terminal doctorate from an internationally acclaimed university. An excellent academic record, and good teaching ability for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. English proficiency, strong multitasking skills, and excellent/good communication skills.
School of Economics and Social Sciences;
At IBA there are two academic and two research departments. The two research departments are the Centre for Business and Economic Research and the other one is Population Research.
